Invitation to speak at MST Elementary

I was invited to come to speak to MST Elementary students on the 13th of November. The teacher was leading an activity among her students about water filtration systems. She even had her students design their own simple water filters. As I was there, I presented my own project to the students to serve as an inspiration for them to work towards solving real-life issues. I was greeted with overwhelming applause, and more hugs than I could count from happy 3rd grade students.

Since there was so much similarity with my project, most of the students appeared to be captivated by my words during the presentation.

I had contacted my EPA supporter, Ms. Anley-mills, and she asked if I could contribute to the EPA blog, so which I agreed with instantly.

Overall, speaking at MST was a fun experience, and I would definitely do it again if asked to. Next Friday, I am planning to attend MST's stem night, where the kids to worked on their filter might demonstrate  what they did.
